Youth Dialogue „Our Future! Our Climate“ with State Secretary Jochen Flasbarth and UNFCCC
Climate change affects young generations the most. In order to include the voice of young people, the BMUB held a youth dialogue in various German cities on the occasion of the COP23. The results are presented by the Youth Ambassadors of Climate Change Secretariat Patricia Espinosa and State Secretary Jochen Flasbarth.

As part of the German G20 presidency, foundations of the G20 countries have joined together to form a group to accompany the government talks. Also in the context of COP they carry discussions on climate change, especially in the G20 countries.

Federal Environment Minister Barbara Hendricks will address the laudatio to the winner of the CARE Millennium Prize. With Christiana Figueres, the former Executive Secretary of the Climate Secretariat, the prize is awarded to one of the central figures for the success of the Climate Summit in Paris.

These questions will be discussed: What  is possible to protect small island states from the consequences of climate change? What can Germany contribute to this? How are the negotiations at the world climate summit COP 23 on this topic?
